White Lion Brewing Company Presents: The Eric Bascom Trio plays the Music of Miles Davis. Included will be works by those musicians that both influenced Miles Davis, or were influenced by Miles Davis. NOTE: In the event of inclement weather, this performance will move indoors to the White Lion Brewing Company located in Tower Square at 1500 Main St., Springfield, MA 01103. The Eric Bascom-Ed Brainerd Duo at the Lenox Fall Art Walk in a Public Performance, September 12, 2026 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM. I love playing the Lenox Fall Art Walk. The Autumn foliage is just beginning and colors the Town of Lenox in very special way. I'll be there playing guitar and singing , along with my good friend, Ed Brainerd, on trumpet and flugelhorn. We will be performing a variety of jazz, blues, original compositions, and popular music, along with a few old and new standards from the Great American Song Book and Beyond. The Lenox Art Walk presents this juried artisan showcase along with the already exceptional shops, cafes and restaurants that Downtown Lenox offers. Come see why Yankee Magazine describes Lenox, MA as one of New England's Top 10 most charming destination towns.

Public Performance: Eric Bascom, guitar and vocals with Mark Curtin on harmonica. I love the vibe at The Apple Place. The outdoor setting of performing in front of the apple orchard is lovely. The Bakery is in full swing - including their cider donuts - along with their Ice Cream Shoppe, and the many varieties of fresh apples for sale in The Barn adds to its charm. The early colors of Autumn are in bloom, and that means the Corn Maze is in place and ready to challenge all who enter. The Apple Place is a special place the whole family can enjoy.

Public Performance: Eric Bascom solo performance performing popular songs by Bob Dylan, Neal Young, Paul Simon, James Taylor, etc, along with some blues, a little jazz, and Motown. Rice's Farms as great Homemade Ice Cream, an In-house Bakery, Breakfast Sandwiches and more. This performance is rain and shine.

Public Performance and Lecture: "American Blues" by Eric Bascom. This presentation will offer a historical context of this iconic and original American musical art form from its roots beginning in the pre-turn of the 20th century to our modern times. Eric will discuss the evolution of the blues in some of its many forms, and will demonstrate through performance some of the key evolutionary periods of this musical art form that shaped American popular music from Tin Pan Alley and Broadway, to jazz, rhythm & blues, rock'n' roll, Motown and beyond.

The Eric Bascom Trio in performance for The New England Design Awards in Architecture. Private Event. We'll be playing a variety of jazz classics, originals, blues, along with a selection of standards from the Great American Song Book. This will be great fun!

The trio members and I will be playing for Western New England University's Fall Reception.

Public Performance: Eric Bascom on guitar and vocals with Ed Brainerd on trumpet and flugelhorn will be in a two-way musical conversation performing selections of jazz, blues, popular music and standards from the Great American Song Book in one of the Pioneer Valley's most intimate settings at in The Mick Lounge inside The Delaney House.
